In 1990, I was 15 years old and went to my first rave at an empty plot that used to be Morleys Cafe in Hildenborough, Kent.
Unfortunately, the police raided it and shut it down at 2am. Bless my mum, she thought I was staying at a friend's.
A couple of weeks later, I was at Slammers in Gravesend. A couple of weeks after that, I was at Dance 90 with Colin Faver and Colin Dale.
Don't get me wrong, I love dancing on the dance floor, but I always wanted to be the DJ.
